Part of the "Sustainability in Industry" lecture series
Climate change and the change to a responsible and sustainable use of existing resources pose a particular challenge to society and industry. The chemical industry is of particular importance here, as it provides the materials and possibilities for the energy transition through its innovations and supports the change towards a sustainable circular economy.
In this lecture, followed by a discussion, Michael Berkei presents ALTANA's understanding of sustainability and demonstrates measures and goals. According to the motto: “We want to leave our footprint on innovations, not on emissions”.
