Starting in the early 80ies the “flavors & fragrance 2025” conference is the eight in the series. It was first organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry, and since 2013, the Liebig Division for Organic Chemistry of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker takes over. This time the conference will take place in Göttingen, a place that also has a great history in flavor & fragrance chemistry. The scientific program has been set up by Lutz Ackermann, Svenja Warratz, Philip Kraft and Johannes Panten, it consists of five sessions. Main focus will be fragrance chemistry, however many talks will also cover other interesting aspects like e.g. perfumery, natural product chemistry or applications of AI in olfaction. In addition there will be again an excursion, this year combined with an exhibition of olfaction and contemporary arts.
