Felix-Bloch-VorlesungThe Bloch Lecture 2025 with the title “Dynamic Nuclear Polarization and In-situ Solid-State NMR – Powerful Tools to Study Local Structures and Processes in Functional Materials” provides insights into advanced solid-state NMR research for structural characterization of novel sustainable functional materials, as well as electrochemical processes in stationary energy storage systems. Specific focus will be on sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) and redox-flow batteries (RFBs) based on renewable raw materials. These systems represent cutting-edge technologies for the intermediate storage of fluctuating renewable energy from wind or solar sources.
