The GDCh Division of Photochemistry, together with the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry, awards the Albert Weller Prize for a dissertation in the field of photochemistry/spectroscopy every two years.
Every two years, the GDCh Division of Photochemistry and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry jointly award the Theodor Förster Memorial Lecture for outstanding work in the field of photochemistry.
The GDCh Division of Photochemistry will award a prize for an outstanding master's thesis in the field of photochemistry/spectroscopy for the first time in 2025.
