Excursions
The Division of the Chemistry of Construction Materials supports group excursions within the framework of training at universities with a maximum grant of 500 euros per institute and per year (max. 50 euros per student). The excursions must have a clear reference to chemistry of construction materials.Applications must be submitted informally by the organising institution with a brief description of the content to the GDCh Office (Dr. Lisa Pecher).
.After approval by the Board of the Chemistry of Construction Materials Division, the following documents are required:

On 4 and 5 April 2019, 15 students from 10 university locations accepted the invitation to Trostberg and Burghausen. In lectures, discussions, laboratory tours and site visits, they learnt a great deal about the working environment of "chemistry of construction materials" in the industry and had plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with BASF and Wacker employees.
