Young economic chemists
Youth organisation of the Association for Chemistry and Economics for student and young members
The Young economic chemists form a national network for students and young graduates (up to three years work experience) with an interest in chemistry and business. Together, we represent the interests of student and young members of the Association for Chemistry and Economics (VCW).
Our core tasks include organising national events, working directly with the VCW Board and networking with regional business chemistry associations. JuWiChem not only faces the challenges of Young economic chemists, for example to increase the acceptance of the university courses in science and industry, but also tries to overcome the physical distance to other students of economic chemistry. To the same extent, JuWiChem supports a stronger network of chemists with an interest in economic issues in order to facilitate exchange and the formation of a common platform.
Committed members are involved in the work of the subgroup through active participation in the development of JuWiChem and in the organisation of future events.
Membership of the VCW and the GDCh results in automatic membership of the young organisation JuWiChem. In addition, members of the regional "business chemists' associations" have the advantage of participating in JuWiChem events even without membership of the VCW.
Mitglied werden
The JuWiChem Federal Board represents the interests of the student and young VCW members and is directly elected by them. The Federal Board is given weight within the section through a permanent voting right on the VCW Board.
The current composition of the Federal Executive Board can be viewed on the homepage of the JuWiChem section. Representatives of the local business chemistry associations take guest seats.
